Itinerary

8:00 am pick up from hotel/hostel in the city of San Pedro of Atacama and depart towards Salar de Aguas Calientes located approximately an hour and a half away near the Bolivian and Argentinian border. We will make stops at the Volcan Licancabur and Volcan Juriques viewer (Chilean side), which are located at the border between Bolivia and Chile. Continuing the trip we visit the Bofedales of Laguna Quepiaco, his wetland are home to vicunas, flamingos and other wild fauna. Finally we reach the rock formation known as the Monjes de Pakana which is located at 4600 masl and Salar de Aguas Calientes.
After the visit we depart back to town through the same road.
4:00 pm approximate arrival to San Pedro of Atacama.
